It is important to understand many things when learning how to day trade including the fact that day trading is risky. Please make sure before you embark on your journey to do your research and have enough money to trade with.
The Forex and Options markets are where the most manipulation comes from. Forex is the largest overall market in the world with trillions and trillions of transactions happening. There are large banks and institutions that trade this market making it one of the hardest to learn on. It is however one of the most easiest to learn on. Options is the most difficult market to learn on and also has a heavy dose of manipulation.
Stocks are the most common type of investment being that most people and institutions both own and trade stocks. Stocks, just like penny stocks, require lots of homework and up keep. Continual research has to be down for trading patterns, volume, and even overall markets that may be moving. Penny stocks are much more risky than stocks and have the same disadvantages. The only advantages to penny stocks are the fact that they can be quite volatile. This creates a high reward environment. With high reward does come high risk so keep that in mind.
The best market when learning how to day trade is the futures market. It is a great combination of both volume, liquidity, and a level playing field. The E-mini S&P500 is the single most traded market in the world. Remember that Forex is the largest overall market while the E-mini S&P 500 is the single highest market. There is no homework or upkeep when it comes to trading E-minis. One can turn on their computer, base their decisions purely on technical analysis, and we don't even have to pay attention to news when trading it. Since everything is on the eminis is traded on a single exchange there is much less fraud and algorithms taking advantage of traders.
Learning how to day trade is one of the best things that someone can learn to do. There is a great life that awaits you with financial freedom and liberty. One must also understand that learning how to day trade is not an easy proposition. It does take a lot of work so don't think that you will learn how to trade overnight and start making millions of dollars.
