Hey Ya'll we are going to cut straight to the chase today and get right into the market recap. At the end of the recap we'll talk more about the subject for the day, which is a very common question I'm asked on an almost daily basis. In fact I'm about to rant off because I just had an interesting thought.

What I'm most commonly asked other than how to make money day trading is how is it that you can be so good at both poker and trading. And as I let some of you all know in yesterday's recap there is no magic pill or secret formula for doing this. What it takes is something most people will never be able to understand. And it's actually incredibly simple to be honest.

The magic answer that many of you wanted to know is, the ability to learn the proper way. It's something that is often overlooked and not many people can completely comprehend this. That's the big secret and that's the way I'm able to make money day trading on a nearly daily basis.

In future videos I will do my best to explain this to you all. But for now we'll leave it at that and get into the market recap. That's actually the real reason that most of you are here. You are all about knowing the results and finding out what exactly I made in the market today.

So, in generally we had a heck of a day yesterday and today's pre-market gave us every indication that history would not repeat itself. As you can see from the chart the pre-market was almost non existent and was nothing like what we saw in yesterday's recap.
Right out of the gate we did have an opportunity to go long in the market and eventually that trade would fail. Immediately following that trade we had an opportunity to the downside and once again we had another failed trade.

So, at t his point the first thing I noticed is that the market had the potential to go choppy and I wanted to give it a bit of time to settle down until I would begin looking for trades again. Eventually that happened again with a really good short that I took for two points. And prior to quitting time a long opportunity came up that I took for a short profit. This was mainly because longs just hadn't worked all day.

As you can see if you stick to the rules it isn't that hard to make money day trading even on really crappy days.
