Q. WHY SO MANY MONITORS AND SO MANY INDICATORS???

I built a state of the art Trading Lab in my home, not only for trading but because I am a trading system developer as well. So during market hours I may be running and testing several different trading alert strategies that I currently have under development. Also I believe one of the BIG secrets to being a more profitable trader is being able to watch how the market is behaving and lining up on multiple time-frames, simultaneously...hence lots of monitors.

You guessed it! I retired to the beach in Baja Mexico over 5 years ago and now have the luxury of being able to devote myself 100% of the time to trading and researching the markets as well as working with other fellow traders. Trust me, it wasn't a cakewalk to get here.. took a decade of strict devotion to mastering the markets to achieve this.

Q. HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU HAVE?

I was taking notes on how one of my signal alerts strategies was functioning in real-time and jotting down changes I wanted to make to the underlying code.

C. IF YOU COULD REALLY TRADE YOU WOULD NOT PIMP YOURSELF OUT FOR A FEW LOUSY DOLLARS.

Yes.. the theory is.. if you can make a ton of money why bother ever being involved with other humans any more right? Truth is, after a few years down here in Mexico, as pretty as it is, and as exciting and as intellectually stimulating and as profitable as the market can be, I got a little bored... so I started a couple of trading rooms. I began helping other traders and found it to be very rewarding and a whole lot more fun trading as a group. Trading all by yourself can be very isolating and lead to all kinds of bad habits.. like hitting the snooze button over and over early in the morning and muttering to yourself.. awe hell...I don't need to get up and trade today... and then drifting back to sleep.

C. THIS IS WHAT A DOTCOM KING LOOKED AND TRADED LIKE BEFORE THEY PULLED THE PLUG, FOUND THEY WERE BUYERS AND NOT TRADERS AND MOVED TO VEGAS TO PARK CARS.

Kind of an non-sensical comment, but I will respond to it anyway. I was actually trading during the Dot Com era and its where I first cut my teeth on Shorting stocks so I actually did quite well back then. I realized one day when I went to a big Internet Startup Convention in Los Angeles and saw blimps flying around overhead promoting companies that would never make a dime over the internet, that it was time to learn how to short stocks. While others were averaging down on $400 dollar internet stocks, that eventually went down to 5 bucks... I was shorting them. So by luck, I narrowly avoided having to move to Vegas to park cars for a living.
